Summer Food Service Program (SFSP)

Learning does not end when school lets out. Neither does the need for good nutrition. The summer food service program provides an opportunity to continue a child's physical and social development while providing nutritious meals. This summer is no different!

Impact LA brings together schools, organizations, community partnerships, families, advocates, researchers, and local governments to leverage resources and information to ensure kids don't go hungry and stay active when school is out!

Our locations offers free, healthy meals to kids and teens through summer. Our partner agencies provide the sites and serve meals in public locations throughout the California. Many Summer Meals sites offer breakfast, lunch, and/or a snack. Adults are welcome to bring their lunch and eat along with their kids. Many places that provide Summer Meals also provide fun, enriching activities for the kids. Find out if your summer program qualifies to receive free meals today!

The Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) is a federally-funded, state-administered program. The SFSP reimburses providers who serve free healthy meals to children and teens in low-income areas during the summer months when school is not in session.
