On August 2nd, we came together in the spirit of Mamba Mentality — determination, excellence, and love for the community — for our Kobe Day Back-to-School Backpack Giveaway. Thanks to your incredible support, partnership, and teamwork, we made an unforgettable impact for families across Los Angeles.

Here's What We Accomplished Together:

🎒 1,800+ backpacks filled with school supplies distributed to local students
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Over 2,000 attendees served at the event
💇 71 free haircuts for students
👟 500 pairs of brand-new tennis shoes gifted
🛒 300+ bags of groceries distributed to families
👶 1,567 diapers provided to parents
👕 1,500+ pieces of clothing for all ages

This day was about more than just backpacks, it was about unity, hope, and giving every child the confidence to start the school year strong.

Impact LA proudly continues this legacy with Kobe Day 2025, a two-part community celebration dedicated to uplifting the values Kobe and Gianna represented: dedication, community, ambition, and love for youth.
